In some ACD environments, there is a requirement to support more than 100 IP agents on a single node. You may not be able to meet the requirement with TDM agents because certain functionality that is available to IP agents is not supported for TDM agents (for example, Resiliency and Teleworking). In addition, some customers do not want to invest in TDM technology.
