Note: It is recommended that the 3300 ICP be configured to collect SMDR records so that the system administrator can correlate the PBX SMDR call records, PBX maintenance logs, and the ER Adviser logs. See Program External SMDR.
To program Emergency Response Adviser notification
Ensure that you have completed CESID Programming.
SNMP Configuration form.
Ensure that the Enable SNMP Agent field is set to "Yes".
The system name in this form must match the System Name in the System Options form. The system name in this form is provided as information in the emergency response notification (ERN) SNMP Trap that is sent to ER Adviser.
If the Accept Requests From All Managers field is set to "No", you must configure the IP address of the SNMP Manager in this form. This is required for the SNMP Manager to acknowledge the trap. If the IP address of the SNMP Manager cannot be determined (for example, due to NAT Firewall), the Accept Requests From All Managers field must be set to "Yes".
SNMP Trap Forwarding form.
Set the Enable MITEL Traps field to "Yes".
Set the ER Notification field to "Yes". Only one SNMP Manager can have the ER Notification field set to "Yes".
