SIP Peer Profile Calling Party Inward Dialing Modification

Purpose:

The Inward Dialing Modification feature allows you to alter the dial strings of inbound calls for a link.

Use this form to select which digit modification rules you wish to apply to the SIP "calling party" type headers of inbound calls. These include From, P-Asserted-Identity, Referred-By, Diversion, and History-Info headers. Use the Inward Dialing Modification form to create the rules.

Display-only, protected field. An alphanumeric string up to nine characters for the SIP Peer Profile.

CPN Restriction

Display-only, protected field. When this option is enabled, anonymous@anonymous.invalid is added to the From header of outgoing calls and CPN substitution is prevented on incoming calls.

Display-only, protected field. The Trunk Service number where the COS/COR and  incoming digit modification setting are set.

Session Timer

Display-only, protected field. The SIP session timeout value (in seconds). If the peer does not respond within the allocated time, the session (call) will be torn down. The default is 90. The range is from 90-9999.

Zone

Display-only, protected field. Devices are grouped together into a zone to which compression policies can be applied. Program zones in the Network Elements form.

Index

Display-only, protected field. Each index number represents a unique inward dialing modification rule. The rules are applied in consecutive order; for example, rule 1 is applied before rule 2.

If the initial digits of an inbound SIP Calling Party number sent over this link matches the criteria programmed for this index number, the system will modify the number.
