Ensure that a Universal Network Services Unit is programmed.
Ensure that Interconnect Restriction and Intercept Handling is programmed for each trunk.
To program MSDN/DPNSS trunks:
Digital Link Descriptors form
Enter "A" or "B" in the Address for Message Control field.
Enter "DPNSS" in the Integrated Digital Access field.
Digital Links form
Enter the Digital Link Descriptor Number programmed in step 1.
Class of Service Options form
Set the ANI/DNIS ISDN Number Delivery Trunk field to "Yes".
MSDN-DPNSS-DASS II Trunk Circuit Descriptors form
Select "CEPT" or "DS1" from the Card Type field if cards are installed in DSU cabinet.
Enable "Incoming" or "Outgoing" from the Dual Seizure Priority field.
Select "MAIN PBX" from the Far End Connection field.
Enable "MSDN-DPNSS" from the Signaling Protocol field.
Trunk Attributes form
Enter the COS number programmed in step 3.
Complete the Non-dial in Trunks Answer Point fields.
Complete the Dial in Trunks: Incoming Digit Modification fields.
Digital Trunks form
Complete the Trunk Number, Trunk Service Number (from step 5), Circuit Descriptor (from step 4), and Interconnect Number fields.
Network Synchronization form (optional)
Assign a source connection to a Network Source Clock.
